Dorothy Gamble Dorothy Gamble has been interested in beauty and creativity all of her life. It is a pursuit that seems to shine through in everything she does, from painting a picture to plating a meal (for the ubiquitous Instagram post, naturally). This native Arkansan grew up in the town of Tollette, in the Southwestern part of the state. After high school, Dorothy left the little rural town to study Fashion Design at Bauder Fashion College in Arlington, Texas and subsequently created and managed her own jewelry line, Ivory Elephant. Focusing now on her illustrations, Dorothy is inspired by fashion and pop culture, both present and past. Whether by interpreting today’s current events or by looking back to a bygone era, Dorothy’s illustrations are firmly planted in place and time but remain whimsical, as fashion itself is an art of change. |
