As a child, I never had any formal art training, but I always "did stuff."  Over the years, I expressed myself in several different mediums.  It wasn't until I took my first pottery class in 2002, at the Arkansas Arts Center, that I felt like I had found my niche.

Having worked in clay for 11 years, I have grown from basic pinch pots and platters to the creations I now produce.  My work includes animals, character based sconces, bird houses, and footed bowls - anything that pops into my head!

My ultimate goal is to evoke emotion from the viewer, hopefully a smile, or perhaps a feeling of whimsy.
