Biography - Georges Artaud
Born in 1947, Georges has been a student of drawing and painting since he was very young. He studied with well known French artist, Marcel FRABOULET, and prepared his entry at the National School of Beautiful Arts of Bourges from which he acquired his diploma 4 years later. After graduation, he started his professional career as an artistic director and editor in advertising. Georges Artaud resigned from his job in 1999, and established himself in the old city of Le Mans to devote himself entirely to painting. His renown has since grown, and he received several awards for his incredible works. He currently has many works on display in Paris where he is recognized for his realistic style and detail. Outside of France, Artaud’s intoxicating art can be found at the Red Door Gallery in the United States, where several of his pieces have been hand selected by the owners for display. This gallery is now the sole proprietor of Artaud’s works in the US.
